Nate had us over when I was recently in L.A. We played a great game called Shadows over Camelot.
It was a blast. Thanks Nate for the fun!

Lee had her baby boy today – Jack Oliver Berry… 6lbs 2 oz. Screaming his head off… Black hair… Everyone happy.
Monti said to me today – showing me something in this magazine – “what pen do you want daddy”… I say that one looks nice (not real interested)… She says do you want the green one or the red one… I say “green”.. she sits….thinks for a bit…. she goes ‘how about the red one?” haha.. I guess my green one is not the right choice….Some cat broke our bird bath today. Elsa is @ a doctor having something checked out on her lip… She goes in for LASIK tomorrow afternoon… Dahlia is taking a nap. A beautiful spring day here in Seattle. Mat turned 28 yesterday… hating his paper he has to write…
We went sledding a week or so ago up in the mountains. Stopped by Denny’s on the way back. Our waitress had.. somewhat of a belly on her… Monti was just sort of staring at it most of the meal.. I watched Monti with trepidation. Finally Monti could contain herself no longer – and said something like “Why is your belly so big??!” Elsa and I just died. Luckily she was pregnant.. She thought it was hilarious. I said to her “Thank God you are pregnant.”
My current nickname for Dahlia is Dee Dee McGraw…. Exiting news!
Took the girls to see Curious George today with Elsa. This is a family first. Monti laughed almost the entire 1.5 hours. It was awesome to watch her laugh. She was almost annoying to some people but I didn’t care. Dahlia just sat and enjoyed it. Didn’t really laugh much. We then went over to Barnes & Noble after that and thought about getting the $30 book of Curious George stories but we passed and got it for $13 off amazon.com marketplace just now. Good stuff! I can’t wait to watch more movies with the girls. This one was one of the better ones though. Very little ‘tension’ to make the girls afraid, good acting by Will Farrell and and good story. Great animation that stayed true to the books though I’ve not read them much. I recommend it for any kids under 6. (9.5/10)
Monti is completely whacked. She just goes nuts when her stomach shows. I don’t know where this comes from. She has very many peculiarities in this respect… Underwear has to be a size 4… she throws major fits if something doesn’t work right… I’m sensing trouble ahead 😉
Hm.. Not the best one I’ve heard in a while, although I liked the narrator. Basically a story about a US Marshall that has to protect a witness… Sounds like a recipe for a book I’d like but it had way too many religious overtones in it. No thanks. (3/10)
